Dr. Jeremy Petch is the founder of CREATE and the Director of Digital Health Innovation at Hamilton Health Sciences.
He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto (IHPME) and McMaster University (Cardiology), as well as an Investigator at the Population Health Research Institute.
Prior to founding CREATE, Jeremy led St. Michael’s Hospital’s transformation into a data-driven organization, through the deployment of an advanced data and analytics infrastructure and co-founding the Li Ka Shing Centre for Healthcare Analytics Research and Training (LKS-CHART), which is home to a team of data scientists with specialization in machine learning, simulation modeling and natural language processing.
Jeremy is active in the broader health care system, serving as a core member of CADTH’s Health Technology Expert Review Panel from 2015 to 2021, a board member of the Regent Park Community Health Centre from 2013 to 2021, and is currently the co-lead of the Digital Health Secretariat of the Hamilton Ontario Health Team.
