Nityan
Khanna

Nityan Khanna has spent over 15 years solving healthcare problems using technology.

He is a Sheridan College alumnus with a diploma in Software Development and Network Engineering. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering Technology from McMaster University.

Nityan currently works in Hamilton Health Sciences as a Senior Software Architect. He has led many projects over the years such as the design and development of the Connected Care Medical Module (C2M2) with the Canadian Space Agency, AutoScribe, as well as the Health Information Mediator (HIM) integration gateway for the United Republic of Tanzania. He is also involved in a consortium tasked with designing the Pan-Canadian HALO Specification.

Prior to working at Hamilton Health Sciences, Nityan has worked in Mohawk College’s MEDIC Lab for 8 years where he led teams of software developers and students in creating digital solutions for many organizations. He was also a part-time instructor in the School of Engineering Technology.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Nityan playing Fantasy Football.
